CORE BEERS
HAZY CAMERON HAZY IPA

This beer is full of Alberta-grown malted barley, wheat and oats. It is also loaded with hops and the result is a beer that is full of flavour. Most of the hops are added late in the boil or as a dry hop addition. The late addition of the hops means that the beer is full of hop aroma and flavour. With the different hops that are used, you get tasting notes of coconut, pineapple, tropical fruit and lemon.
INGREDIENTS: water, malt barley, wheat malt, oat malt, hops, yeast
HOPS: Sabro, Bru-1, Mosaic, El dorado
CONNEMARA CREAM ALE

Cream ale is one of the few original North American-style beers. When Europeans started immigrating to the east coast, they missed their beer from back home. They lacked the technology and the ingredients to make a proper lager, so they improvised, and they developed a Cream ale. Malted barley was hard to find so they added some corn. Without proper fermentation equipment, maintaining a cold fermentation temperature was also difficult, so ale yeast was used in place of lager yeast. The result was a beer that contained a bit more flavour and complexity than the lagers traditionally brewed in Europe. Our cream is a pale-coloured beer that is flavorful and refreshing. A great beer for people who are new to craft beer, or craft lovers looking for something refreshing.
INGREDIENTS water, malt barley, flaked corn, hops, yeast
HOPS: Citra, cascade
ISLAND ROAMER

A solid pale ale, or west coast pale, is a staple on most craft beer menus. It offers a little more bitterness and flavour than a traditional lager, blonde ale or cream ale, while still being more approachable than some of the more flavour-packed options available. They should not be boring. After trying some excellent pale ales this summer and discovering cryo-pop hops, we needed to get some and try them in beer. The first beer that we made cryo pops was the start of something good. We cranked up the number of hops in the beer, to our delight. This is a great, flavorful beer, that is a great showcase for the wonderful flavour and aroma that hops offer.

THE RASPBERRY

Well, no secrets here. This beer is loaded with Raspberries. It has a pink colour (or red if we used frozen raspberries) from the addition of real fruit. When you taste it, there is no doubt that it is loaded with raspberries. Since the first batch that got released, this beer has been a favourite in the taproom. Originally the intention was to release a fruit beer in the summer and fall, but we continually got feedback that people wanted this beer all the time.
INGREDIENTS: water, malt barley, raspberries, hops, yeast
HOPS: cashmere
STUBBLE'S YOUR FRIEND BROWN ALE

Brown ale is a very broad category of beer. We are proud of this beer for a few reasons. Firstly, it is only 4.2% ABV, you get lots of flavour and don’t have to worry about a high ABV.
Secondly, this beer is made with all Alberta ingredients. The malt comes from Origin in Strathmore and from Red Shed Malting in Red Deer. The hops have been sourced from the Red Deer area.
INGREDIENTS: water, malt barley, hops, yeast
HOPS: Fuggle
OLD FART LAGER

Despite confidentially declaring that we would not brew a lager when we first opened, we folded and made a lager. Turns out….. it is popular! This is a crisp, refreshing lager that tastes like another one. It uses some hops that are more associated with pale ale and IPAs that give it a unique flavour that sets it apart from the lagers that fill the shelves in most liquor stores.
INGREDIENTS: water, malt barley, hops, yeast
HOPS: northern brewer, citra
